I was so disappointed. I had the Cajun Chicken Fillet Maryland. It came with a banana fritter, which was tasty. A Corn on the cob, which was undercooked hard and I couldn't get the corn off. The Cajun Chicken fillet was overcooked, dry, stringy and hard to cut. Wasn't nice at all. The Alabama barbecue sauce did help ease it down after numerous chews. I wish I'd gone for the Beef & Blue pizza. I honestly don't think Marco would cook it like that. Such a let down. 😥

Great video. I visited the Bread Basket several weeks ago and ordered a meat and potato pie. Sat in St John Square to eat it. The pie was stone cold - refrigerator cold. I ate half of the pie and had to throw the other half away (inedible cold). The card in the window said HOT pies so why did he sell me a cold pie. He must have known I would be eating it for my lunch there and then? It is not all roses at the Bread Basket!

Holidays used to be better organised when I grew up in the 70s and 80s. Leicester had the July fortnight and then Nottingham had the following fortnight. This meant that seaside resorts had longer seasons and the trade was better spread out.

Sooo expensive!!...... But as a "one off" (or even better when it's gifted to you!!!!) then I guess it wasn't too bad!

All things considered, not a crazy price for somewhere a bit more up market. My local cafe was £4 coffee + £4 for tiny sandwich the other day 😞

Hope you did not catch a chill out there - you are right, the change in the weather is amazing. A friend of mine in America has 100 deg F plus temperatures, a possible hurricane to come, flooding and power outages all around her. I would keep our weather anyday! However - the shots of the Irish Sea in this film are magnificent! I wish I could stitch them together and play them on a loop. As it was there was not much daylight between the top of the sea and the understructure of the pier ... what then is it like when the tide is fully in?

I live on Teesside, and we have had only 15 days of what I would call heatwave weather. (up to now) . The other days are nothing much to write home about. When I was a kid, it used to be called flaming June. But the first 2 weeks of June. I had to wear my coat I am old enough to remember summer 76, where we had 3 months of heat wave weather and no rain. On New Year's Day, 1977, we had 3 feet of snow. I was 15. I thought it was great ... Now. If there's any sign of snow, I won't even leave the house.😂🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
